Central District Chef Trey Lamont launches Weekend Brunch Service at The Jerk Shack Restaurant


Central District native and Garfield High School Alum, Chef Trey Lamont, owner of the Jerk Shack restaurant in Belltown, announces new weekend brunch service every Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 2pm.

It has been a very successful and critically acclaimed two years since the Jerk Shack opened its doors in downtown Seattle. Since day one, the Jerk Shack has only been open for dinner service and over the past 24 months Lamont has got plenty of requests from his loyal customers for a brunch service.

Lamont, never being one to disappoint customers and always known for his culinary innovations saw brunch as an opportunity to reward existing customers, draw in new customers, extend the overall menu offering, and of course showcase his breakfast skills.



According to Lamont, customers can look forward to a lot of homemade spices and meals prepared with an abundance of passion and love. Some of the mouth watering down home meals on the menu include:


  • Jamaican breakfast patties filled with egg jerk sausage cheese and vegetables

  • Fried soft shell crab Benedict with avocado hollandaise

  • Cheddar jalapeno green onion biscuits

  • House made bacon and grits with the fried fish option

  • Jerk sausage and egg sandwich

  • French toast with coconut milk caramel

  • Fried Jamaican curry wings and waffle


With an average menu price of around $14, brunch at the Jerk Shack is sure to satisfy without breaking the bank.
